March 27, 2023 – HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a 447-bed facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, is pleased to announce the promotion of Deborah Krauser to ACNO.

Deborah Krauser was the director of the trauma and burn departments from 2018 to March 2023. Before joining Kendall, Krauser was the trauma program director at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Krauser started her medical career as a paramedic for Broward County. She graduated with her associate degree in nursing from Miami Dade Community College and started her nursing career at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. She continued her education, graduating from FIU with a master’s of science in nursing and advanced practice registered nurse. She served as an advanced practice registered nurse in cardiology at Broward General Medical Center. She later relocated to Texas and completed her doctorate in nursing practice from Texas Christian University receiving the “Great 100 Nurse” recognition. Most of Krauser’s clinical nursing practice has been in trauma and critical care.
