Capital Health Group, LLC and AEW Capital Management, LP have formed a joint venture, which is currently developing Symphony at the Waterways, a 106-unit assisted living and memory care community. Symphony at the Waterways will sit on 1.3 acres of land located on the intracoastal waterway at 3001 East Oakland Park Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Construction on this eight-story, 101,507 square foot residence began in March 2015 and the community is scheduled to open in the 3rd quarter of 2016.
 
This state-of-the-art, luxurious residence will include 86 assisted living apartments and 20 memory care apartments, and will be managed by Compass Pointe Healthcare System.

Symphony at the Waterways will feature beautiful common areas that offer residents vast outdoor lounge areas, rooftop patios, and a courtyard/pier for assisted living residents. Memory care residents will benefit from Compass Pointe’s Beacon Place programming as well as a secure memory care terrace. An elegant dining room will provide a 5-star restaurant-style menu as well as a bistro for cocktail dining, and an 8th floor sky lounge will allow for stunning views of the surrounding water and feature a grand piano for entertainment. Residents will also enjoy a salon and spa, and a surround-sound theater with raised auditorium seating and a 90” screen.
 
Resident apartments will have cable TV, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour emergency call systems, walk/roll-in showers, spacious closets, and individual thermostats. In addition to these amenities, Symphony at the Waterways will offer residents 24-hour staffing, dining services, concierge assistance, linen services, housekeeping, daily entertainment, fitness programming, educational services, social events, and a private town car for resident appointments.
