Szaro spent 35 years working for Ernst & Young, serving 12 years as the founder and director of the firm’s Global Health Science Industry Practice. He also served as the Managing Partner of its Miami office.
Fernando A. Salgado has joined Jackson Health System as its senior vice president and chief transformation officer. Salgado has 35 years of professional experience that includes senior management and executive positions with IBM, Ernst & Young, General Electric and Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Don Steigman has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Jackson Health System. Most recently, he was CEO of a healthcare revenue cycle management company and founder of a health care consulting company that provided services to acute care hospitals and other providers in the industry. Steigman also served as senior vice president of the management team of Tenet HealthSystem.
