West Boca Medical Center teamed up with the City of Coconut Creek to combat childhood obesity in the community. Let’s Move! is a comprehensive initiative, launched by First Lady, Michelle Obama, that is dedicated to promoting health and exercise in children in an effort to decrease childhood obesity in the U.S.
Combining comprehensive strategies with common sense, Let’s Move! is about putting children on the path to a healthy future during their earliest months and years. The Let’s Move! initiative in Coconut Creek will work to provide healthier food in schools, ensure every family has access to healthy and affordable food and help children become more physically active.
