During her studies at Nova Southeastern University and even before then, Dr. Marlene Aramburu envisioned working with seniors in a home-like environment.
A board certified osteopathic family physician and Geriatric Medicine practitioner working with Broward Health Physician Group, Dr. Aramburu will have that opportunity when the new health center, The Woodlands at John Knox Village, opens its doors in 2016.
Recently, Dr. Aramburu became the new Medical Director at John Knox Village.
Born in Lima, Peru, Dr. Aramburu was a Dental Assistant Technician with the United States Air Force. She completed her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at NSU and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Directors Association.
