Joshua D. Lenchus, D.O., has been named chief medical officer of Broward Health Medical Center.
Lenchus is board certified in internal medicine and has physician leadership experience, serving for six years as chief of staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He previously served at Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University of Miami Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital as an internal medicine physician. He was also a former associate program director for the UM/Jackson Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Lenchus has authored several medical publications and books, and served as the principle investigator on many research studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from University of Florida and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University.
