Mariners Hospital has announced that Deena Brito has been promoted from laboratory director to director of professional services.Brito joined Mariners Hospital in 2003 as the laboratory supervisor and in 2006 was promoted to laboratory director.
Brito, who received Mariners Hospital’s Osprey Award for Outstanding Leadership in 2011, has chaired numerous teams at the hospital including Mariners Hospital’s Diversity Council and the 2009 and 2010 Relay for Life teams. She is a member of the Mariners Hospital Auxiliary and the Rotary Club of Key Largo where she serves on the Board of Directors and the scholarship committee.
