Neurologist Natalia Rincon Buendia, M.D., MPH, has joined Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in the treatment of epilepsy.
Dr. Rincon Buendia earned her medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville after earning a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree at the University of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She served as chief resident during a neurology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her post-doctoral training also includes a neurophysiology and epilepsy fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, where she served as chief fellow.
