Kindred Hospital of Hollywood is pleased to announce that Natasha Orr has accepted the position of Admitting/Insurance Verification Clerk for the Business Office. Natasha is replacing Iris Santiago who is pursuing other career opportunities.
Natasha brings 8 years of healthcare experience to Kindred, starting in 1998 at Northshore Hospital where she held the position of Registar/Unit Secretary for 5 years. She worked one year at Palmetto General Hospital as a Unit Secretary then at HCA Plantation General Hospital as an Admitting Clerk. Kim Newiger has been promoted to Case Manager for Kindred Hospital South Florida Hollywood. Kim started her employment with Vencor in 1990, working at Kindred Hospital in Fort Lauderdale as a Staff nurse. Kim transferred to THC in 2000 working as a Staff nurse on the Telemetry floor. During Kim’s tenure in Hollywood, she has worked in ICU, Telemetry, Acute Medical Surgical, Medical Surgical and Woundcare. The Nursing Department is pleased to announce that Joan Black, CWS, RN, BSN, has accepted the position of Woundcare RN at Kindred Hospital South Florida Hollywood. Joan has been working with HCA Plantation General Hospital since June 1, 1990 caring for patients in the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. In Feb 1998, Joan started working in the Woundcare Center as a Staff RN, caring for woundcare patients in an outpatient setting, and offering in house consulting for wound care patients. In April 2001, Joan was promoted to Clinical Coordinator for the Wound Care Center.
