Jupiter Medical Center is pleased to welcome Thomas R. Schoenig as the organization’s new chief information officer. Schoenig, a 30-year industry veteran, comes to the medical center from Altamonte Springs, FL where he served as the regional chief information officer for Adventist Health System.
Schoenig was a member of the Adventist senior leadership team and led technology service delivery for two regions within Adventist – first, over the Midwest region which included five acute care facilities in Illinois and Wisconsin. In his last two years with Adventist, Schoenig moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and oversaw the technology service delivery for the four acute care facilities, two nursing and rehabilitation centers, and numerous physician practices located around the Dallas/Fort Worth area, extending south to central Texas.
In addition to Adventist, Schoenig has held senior IT leadership positions at hospitals and health care systems across the country from Wyoming to Las Vegas to the greater Dallas area. He holds a BA in Chemistry from Monmouth College in Illinois.
