North Shore Medical Center paid tribute to mothers during National Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August by hosting a baby shower and allowing guests to tour the hospital’s Signature Birthplace Suites.
The event was open to the community and featured educational lectures, healthy refreshments, entertainment and prenatal yoga demonstrations. Staff from the hospital’s maternity department was available to provide information and answer questions.
As shown in the photo, guests enjoyed coloring and painting at an arts and crafts table as part of the activities.
