As a compassionate and dedicated nurse, Veronica Young, RN, serves hospice patients with exceptional clinical care. She joined the VITAS admissions team in 2016 after working as a school nurse in Miami-Dade County schools. Veronica takes pride in educating patients and families on what to expect in the end-of-life process. Her focus is on patient-centered care, and this drives her passion for hospice.
Veronica earned a BSN from Chamberlain University in Miramar, Florida, after receiving an ASN degree from Excelsior University and completing an LPN program at McFatter Technical College in Davie, FL.
