ADVANCE for Nurses newsmagazine announced the Special Medical Care Unit/Surgical Telemetry (SMCU/ST) at North Broward Medical Center, Deerfield Beach has won the Best in Teamwork & Adaptability award, one of five presented in the publications annual Best Nursing Team awards program. “I am so proud of the nurses on the unit for winning this well deserved award,” said Donna Small, Chief Nursing Officer at North Broward Medical Center. “Nursing is all about working together to provide the best care possible for all of our patients, and this unit certainly sets the bar.”
