Palmetto General Hospital welcomes Barbara Vazquez as its new chief nursing officer. She has more than 12 years of experience in healthcare leadership positions and more than 10 years of nursing experience.
Vazquez earned her Associate of Science in Cardiovascular Science from the National School of Technology in Miami and her Associate of Science in Nursing from Miami-Dade College. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and her Master in nursing from Brandman University in Irvine, California, where she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in nursing.
