As the vice president of cancer services at Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), Meredith Feinberg is focused on developing care models and opening centers that transform the patient experience and deliver improved outcomes. Evidence of that is MCI’s newest facility, which opened on the campus of Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines 18 months ago.
“We’ve expanded access to care by integrating multidisciplinary teams, offering advanced therapies, and fostering a culture of empathy and innovation,” said Feinberg. “It’s a beautiful environment for healing.”
Part of Memorial Healthcare System for the past four years, Feinberg considers herself a transformational leader that supports change, even when it may be uncomfortable. It’s a mindset she learned early in her career, understanding that those willing to adapt are the ones that will survive, and thrive, in an industry that is always changing.
