Long before Dr. Hayley Sacks became a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, she was a competitive figure skater who competed at the World Championships. Her years on the ice shaped and motivate her to this day.
“Doctors helped me get back on the ice after I suffered injuries in my career,” said Dr. Sacks. “Now I want to help kids accomplish their own goals, whether that’s in sports, art, writing or just moving without pain.”
Dr. Sacks completed her training at Weill Cornell, NYU Langone and Children’s Hospital Colorado. She loves all aspects of pediatric orthopedics but has a special interest and expertise in pediatric hand and upper extremity conditions.
