Dr. Carol Biggs has been elected President-Elect of the Nursing Consortium of Florida and will succeed Jason Dunne as President in early 2027. As President-Elect, she will work closely with current leadership to help guide strategic direction for the Consortium’s initiatives. Dr. Biggs has been with Jackson Health System for nine years and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive, where she leads system-wide nursing strategy across one of the nation’s largest public healthcare systems, with a strong focus on community engagement and advancing nurse professional and leadership development. She also serves as Associate Dean for Academic Health Centers Integration at the University of Miami College of Nursing. A long-time supporter of the Consortium, Dr. Biggs recognizes its relevance to organizations of all sizes and is committed to strengthening collaboration across the nursing community.
