FoundCare announced that Steven Stolman has been appointed as Director of Development
Steven Stolman worked on Seventh Avenue in New York City for 15 years. He began in 1980 first in public relations for Albert Nipon, then in design for Valentino Studio, legendary Pauline Trigere and other small dress companies. In 1985 he created a dress collection that was sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and specialty stores across the country until he returned to Albert Nipon as Design Director. His foray into resort wear began in 1993 when he was asked to consult on the re-launch of the Lilly Pulitzer label. In 1995, the first Steven Stolman shop opened in Southampton, New York, followed soon after by a second shop in Palm Beach.
Stolman attended Carnegie Mellon University and studied at Northwestern University, before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design. He is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and received the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce 2004 Business Leader of the Year Award.
