Jim Leung, M.D., and Carmen L. Muresan, M.D., have joined the medical staff at University Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Leung joined Dr. Richard Foxs practice in January. He attended Central America Health Science University in Belize and completed his residency at the McLaren Hospital and Family Practice Residency Program at the University of Michigan. He is fluent in Chinese, Cantonese and Mandarin. Dr. Muresan joined Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants in November 2006. She completed her anesthesiology residency and fellowship in pain management at Harvard Medical School, Bringham and Womens Hospital. She received her MD cum laude from Eugenio Maria de Hostos University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republican, and is trilingual. Prior to joining the practice, she served as Director of the Central Illinois Pain Management Center, Decatur Memorial Hospital and held appointment as affiliate professor at the graduate school of Bradley University.
