VITAS Promotes Mary Cuervo to Senior Director

Mary Cuervo of Miami has been promoted to senior director of compensation and benefits for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care®.

Cuervo has been director of compensation at VITAS since 2003. She also has managed and consulted in the compensation departments of Ryder System, Burdine’s and Capital Banks.

Cuervo is a member of World at Work, a national compensation association through which she is a Certified Compensation Professional; she is certified in benefits administration. She is a member and formerly served on the board of the South Florida Compensation & Benefits Association.
