Heather J. Rohan, FACHE, the Chief Executive Officer of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, was recently honored at Barry Universitys Distinguished Alumni Awards for her 30 years of leadership and healthcare experience and for her service to Barry University, her alma mater.
Rohans expansive and impressive career in healthcare has included holding leadership roles in both the administrative and clinical areas for more than 25 years, including serving as Chief Nursing Officer at Cedars Medical Center in Miami, Chief Executive Officer at Pompano Regional Medical Center and Palms West Hospital, and as previous Chief Operating Officer of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.
Rohan returned to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center as Chief Executive Officer in October 2005.
