Memorial and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundations announce the election of new officers and board members to its 2011-2012 Board of Directors. Mitchell Eisenberg, M.D. begins a two-year term as Chairman, replacing Gary Birken, M.D. who becomes immediate past chair. Dr. Eisenberg is the Chairman and CEO of Sheridan HealthCorp, Inc. Other board officers include Carl Schuster, Esq., first vice chair; Susanne Cornfeld Hurowitz, second vice chair; Thomas Oliveri, treasurer; and Cheryl Peisach, secretary.
In addition to the officers, three new directors, Alberto Fernandez, Alejandra Perez, M.D. and Frank Scholl, M.D. were elected at the board’s annual meeting.
