Dr. Arun Talkad joins Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute with his emphasis on community outreach through EMS stroke education, acute stroke treatment and decreasing door to treatment time.Dr. Talkad is also the new Stroke Medical Director at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and is also on staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach. Prior to joining PBNI and local hospitals, Dr. Talkad served as the Stroke Center Director and Medical Director of Acute Neurology at the Illinois Neurological Institute and was an attending neurologist in the Department of Neurology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He also held an academic appointment at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at Peoria. He is board-certified in neurology with the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.
